My Services

Personal Risk (Life, Income, Disability & Health Insurances and Buy Sell Agreements)I provide personalized advice that takes into account your individual circumstances to determine the personal risk products that best meet your personal goals and needs. I also provide personalized advice on Mortgage Products that best meet your personal goals and needs. My recommendation is limited to the products offered by the following companies: AIA, Asteron, Chubb Life.

How do I get paid for the personal risk services that I provide to you?

To ensure that advice remains accessible, I do not charge an upfront fee for providing personal risk insurance advice or for implementing advice if you decide to proceed. More details on fees will be provided in your “scope of service” should we decide to engage commercially. In place of an upfront fee, I am paid a commission by the recommended insurance provider from the premium they charge you for your cover. This commission will range from 120% to 230% of the first year's premium, depending on which insurance company you take out cover with.  I will then receive a servicing commission of 5% to 25% of the annual premium for the life of the policy.  I will confirm the amount of commission I will receive when I provide my recommendation to you.

Mortgage Finance (Debt structuring, Refinancing, New Purchases, Non Bank Lenders)

I can work with the banks and lenders and specialized brokers to recommend the lending products and solutions that I think best fit your circumstances and requirements from the financial lending providers. These will be provided in your “scope of service” should we decide to engage commercially.

How do I get paid for the services that I provide to you?

I do not always charge direct fees however I may charge the following fees for financial advice:

  • An initial advice fee for the time involved meeting a client, obtaining all necessary information and presenting this information.

  • Where requested by a client, in undertaking a specific task, a  total fee outlined in the scope of service.

  • Specific commissions negotiated on behalf of the client, payable by the client, in lieu of commissions payable by Lenders.

  • An hourly rate of no less than $350.00 + GST (where applicable).

  • I am sometimes paid a commission by the recommended lending provider.   This commission will range from 0.30% to 2.0% of the total lending, depending on which provider you choose to take a loan with .  I will confirm the amount of commission I will receive when I provide my recommendation to you

If any work is fee-able this will be notified, via email, or, verbally agreed BEFORE fee-able time is allocated.  Where a group is involved all parties to the group (Company. Trust or individual) will be jointly and severally liable for the total fees payable.  Fees will be invoiced after each fee-able interaction and are payable within 7 days.

As a Financial Adviser, it is my duty to abide by the Code of Conduct for Financial Service Providers.Although I am sometimes paid by the providers for the services I provide, it is you that I work for.  To ensure I put your interests ahead of my own, I follow a 6-step advice process when providing personalized financial advice which is based on your individual goals and needs. I provide all my recommendations in writing so that you have the opportunity to ask any questions you might have before implementing any of my advice.

What should I do if something goes wrong?

If you are unhappy with any aspect of my service, please tell me FIRST so that we can manage it through my internal complaint process.
